Suspect Flees Law Enforcement in Shuttle Van Stolen from Rochester Business
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in southeast Minnesota are looking for the person suspect of stealing a van from a Rochester shuttle company.

Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the vehicle theft call around 2:45 Friday morning.
The van was reported stolen from a business in the 800 block of Civic Center Dr. Northwest. It was left running outside of the business while the customers were getting ready to depart, Grayson said.

Around 3 a.m. authorities located the van as it was traveling north on Hwy. 52 near Zumbrota.
Grayson says the van accelerated after assisting law enforcement attempted to pull it over and continued traveling north.
Pursuing authorities then successfully deployed stop sticks and caused the van to stop on Hwy. 52 near the Goodhue/Dakota County line in the Cannon Falls area.
The suspect then took off running into a nearby field and as of Friday morning has not been located, according to the police report.
Grayson says there is not a known immediate threat to residents in the area where the suspect fled. A description of the suspected vehicle thief is not available.
