Law enforcement responded to a home in the 400 block of 6th St. NW in Pine Island to execute search and arrest warrants on Friday afternoon.

A 14-year-old passenger in the car was not injured.

Authorities conducted a multi-agency search after responding to the area shortly before 5:30 p.m.

While driving through the roundabout, the deputy saw what appeared to be an empty SUV.

The tragic incident was the seventh traffic death reported in Minnesota since Saturday.

Deputies discovered the skimmer while investigating the report of credit/debit fraud.

Traffic was reduced to a single lane during the fire fight.

Foot tracks show he left the house on a wooded trail toward the Cannon River on the eastern edge of Cannon Falls with his dog as a normal routine.

The traffic backup on Hwy. 52 was nearly one mile long during the incident.

The State Patrol responded to the crash in Goodhue County shortly after 7 a.m.

All three of the crashes happened during the afternoon.

The State Patrol says alcohol was involved.

The charges say the alleged sex abuse occurred sometime during the Spring of 2023.

Deputies learned of the church burglary while responding to the report of a recovered stolen vehicle in Pine Island.
