Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Minneapolis man was arrested by Rochester police Tuesday as a suspect in a theft at a local fitness center.

Two men working out at Edge Fitness returned to their lockers around 6:00 PM to find the padlocks had been cut and their wallets were gone.

One of the victims was contacted by his bank a short while later inquiring about his credit card. It had been used to attempt a $2,000 withdrawal at Walgreens. It was later used to make another unsuccessful withdrawal at a second business. The card was successfully used to make a $270 purchase at Macy’s.

Police learned three men had entered the locker room about the time of the theft. Officers later located one of the suspects and found the two stolen wallets in his vehicle, along with a bolt cutter.
