Twin Cities Man Charged in 2015 Rochester Rape Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Attorney’s Office has charged a former Rochester man accused of raping a woman in Rochester nearly nine years ago.

The woman reported a sexual assault to Rochester Police in April of 2022. She alleged the rape happened in 2015.
Over the course of two interviews, the most recent of which was conducted last fall, the woman said she was out drinking with coworkers after just moving to Rochester in late March of 2015.
She said a man with her group, identified in the criminal complaint as 42-year-old Nicolaos Dimitrios Katsiadakis of Eagan, MN, was with them and offered to give her a ride home after the group was done drinking.
She told police that she took up Katsiamakis offer but said he drove to his residence instead of taking her home. She told police she was “a little drunk” and went along with Katsiadakis driving the two to his home, the court document says.
Once inside of Katsiamakis’s residence, the woman said he made sexual advances on her despite her telling him no. She told investigators Katsiamakis raped her and drove her home the next morning, the complaint says.
If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, resources are available for help. Visit the RAINN website (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) or dial 800-656-HOPE (800-656-4673).
Katsiadakis said in a phone interview that he remembered the gathering at the bar that night and said he brought a girl to his house that could’ve been the victim. He said he had sex with the woman and did not remember whether or not he brought her home.
Katsiadakis is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct. He’s due to make his first court appearance in March.
