at last check in connection with two reported home invasions. Captain John Sherwin says a 31 year old man who lives in the 600 block of 11th avenue northeast answered a knock at his door around 11:45 last night. He told police a woman he knows was with a man and two women who were armed with knives. He says they forced their way inside and demanded money. The victim says the man punched him in the face and the women threatened him with the knives. After telling them he had no money, the intruders left with some speakers. Then they went next door where they forced their way inside another home and demanded money from the occupant. When they were told he had no money, they took his puppy. Officers later arrested two of the suspects and recovered the dog.
