UPDATED : Rochester Teens Sleep Through Shooting

Two Rochester teenagers were sleeping early Friday when two bullets were fired through their bedroom window.

 Police were called to the Villages at Essex Park apartment complex on 41st Street near the Roy Watson Youth Sports Complex around 12:30 a.m. to investigate the shooting.The apartment that was fired is on the second floor of the complex.

There was at least one other person in the apartment at the time. No injuries were reported. In fact, a spokesman says the teens were still sleeping when an adult checked on them.

A witness told police a red or maroon-colored car was seen driving into the parking lot just before the shooting. It was spotted leaving right after the shooting with two people inside.

Police aren’t sure why the apartment was fired at.
