
(UPDATE) Driver Flees After Smashing Into Zumbrota Home
(UPDATE) - Search for Driver Who Crashed into Zumbrota Home Has Ended
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police in southeast Minnesota are looking for the driver of a vehicle that smashed into a home early Thursday morning.

Law enforcement has issued a request for public assistance. A news release issued by the Zumbrota Police Department says the vehicle-house collision happened shortly after 2:30 a.m.
Responding officers did not find a vehicle at the scene and say the motorist could’ve fled towards or came from the area of Hwy. 52/Hwy. 60.
Vehicle Crashes Home in Zumbrota, MN Driver Flees Scene
Police responded to the incident at the intersection of Mill St. and West 5th St in Zumbrota.
No one inside of the home at the time of the collision was injured and the occupants were able to stay inside of their home, the news release says.
Information regarding a damage estimate, along with the number of people inside of the residence is not available.
Investigators suspect the driver fled west on West 5th St. towards Hwy. 52 and are asking any homes and businesses with doorbell cameras between Main St. and Hwy. 52 to check their footage for any vehicles seen between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m.
The news release does not give a description of the suspect vehicle. Anyone with footage that may aid the investigation is asked to contact Goodhue County Dispatch at 651-385-3155.
Police are also encouraging any Individuals with knowledge about the incident to contact law enforcement.
