Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department captured a wanted subject after a search on Wednesday.

A statement sharing limited details on the incident was released Wednesday night. The ordeal began around 5 p.m. in northwest Rochester.

Wanted Person Captured After Fleeing Police on Foot at Northwest Rochester Apartment Complex

Rochester police Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers were dispatched to the report of an individual with an active arrest warrant being seen in the area of Begonia Ct. NW. 

The street runs through the Bella Grove apartment complex, located at 4320 Marigold Pl NW. 


The police report says the subject fled on foot when officers arrived. Police deployed a drone and K-9 and located the wanted person. 

He was taken into custody without incident, Grayson said. 

Police did not identify the wanted individual and did not say what he was wanted for.
