If you haven't bought Halloween candy yet, you aren't alone.  7 in 10 shoppers wait until the week of Halloween to buy their favorite bag of treats to hand out to trick-or-treaters in the area.  Whenever you do go out to buy Halloween treats, do yourself a favor and grab the most popular candy in Minnesota.

What's The Most Popular Halloween Candy In Minnesota?

Halloween is a huge money-maker for retailers.  In 2023, it was reported that $12.2 billion was spent on Halloween purchases.  Between the candy, costumes, and decorations, USAToday.com is claiming that on average, Americans spent $108.24 per person.  This year, even with inflation, this season is predicted to be an even bigger year of spending.

Although the spooky holiday is at the end of October, stores like Costco started creating huge displays for Halloween back in July.  When it comes to candy though, there is one true winner for the state of Minnesota based on Google searches.

Personally, I'd take a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup over M&M's any day!  I didn't realize that M&M's were such a popular choice for the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but according to Google, we love to search for that candy.
