
Passed-Out Rochester Woman Arrested After Police Find Gun & Drugs in Vehicle
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester police seized drugs and a gun from a vehicle that was occupied by two passed out people early Tuesday morning.

One woman in the vehicle was also arrested, according to Rochester Police Department Communication Coordinator Amanda Grayson.
Officers responded to the report of two people being passed out in a vehicle around 12:50 a.m. The call came from the 6400 block of Bandel Rd. Northwest.
Rochester Police: Gun Found Under Foot of Passed out Woman in Vehicle, Drugs Discovered in her Jacket
Responding officers spotted a handgun under the foot of the person sitting in the driver’s seat, according to the police report. That person has been identified as 19-year-old Ruweyda Ali of Rochester.
Police also found a baggie containing 21 grams of a substance that tested positive for cocaine in Ali’s jacket, which was found next to the vehicle, Grayson said.

Officers arrested Ali on suspicion of driving under the influence and brought her to the Olmsted County Jail.
During the booking, law enforcement found a baggie containing an unspecified amount of unnamed pills on her person. Ali also refused to submit a sample for a blood test, Grayson said.
Ali is expected to face multiple charges including fifth-degree drug possession.
Grayson says the second person in the vehicle was evaluated and cleared at the scene by a Mayo Clinic Ambulance crew.
