Where To Go To Get A Covid Shot In Minnesota?
St Paul (KROC AM News) - Now that Minnesota has opened the Covid vaccination door to anyone 16 and older, many are wondering how they can get a shot.
Minnesota has followed an orderly vaccination program since the first shipments of vaccine arrived in December.
Residents of nursing homes/assisted living facilities and health care workers were the first to roll up their sleeves. The program later expanded to include Minnesotans 65 and older, educators and child care providers.
Those wanting a shot can contact a health care provider or check with any major pharmacy. Some have had luck contacting smaller pharmacies, such as Hunt Drug in Rochester or small-town outlets.

Gov. Walz has said the state is expecting a large increase in available vaccine by mid-April.
The state is reporting more than a million Minnesotans are fully vaccinated.
The number of Olmsted County residents listed as fully vaccinated has grown to 47,000 or about a fourth of the population.
