The criminal complaint also says the defendant in the case was an adult man when he and the victim were engaged in a sexual relationship.

21-year-old Maurice Michael Crider is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a count of soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct through electronic communications and a count of electronic communications relating to or describing sexual conduct with a child.
The victim told Rochester police she met Crider on social media and that they were in a relationship late last year and had intercourse at a Rochester home, according to the complaint.

She learned she was pregnant after their relationship ended, the complaint says. She said Crider told her he was 15 when they began talking but then said he was 20 after she informed him of her pregnancy.
The victim told police she blocked Crider’s number after becoming pregnant and said she told him to stop contacting her, the court document says.
Police Find Sexually Explicit Messages Sent to Teen Victim
The charges say Crider would communicate with the victim by sending messages through different phone numbers and social media accounts. Some of the messages contained “sexually explicit conversations,” the complaint says.
While being arrested Crider told law enforcement he got a teenage girl pregnant, the complaint says.
Crider made his first court appearance Monday morning. His conditional bail was set at $25,000 and he's due back in court next month.
