Young Child Seriously Hurt After Car Ends Up in Lake

A car driven by a Rush City woman ended up completely submerged in Mora Lake last night

and one of her children suffered serious injuries.

The State Patrol says 23 year old Jessica Delcourt was driving out of the town of Mora just after 10 o’clock when the accident happened.

 The Patrol says Delcourt and her infant daughter were not hurt but the woman’s 2 year old son was seriously injured.   It’s not known if the young child was trapped in the vehicle or suffered other injuries.

 Mora is located south of Lake Mille Lacs.
