TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Federal marshals say a convicted murderer who broke out of an Ohio prison in 1978 has been captured in Minnesota.

The U.S. Marshals Service in northern Ohio says 66-year-old Oscar Juarez was among Ohio's most wanted fugitives.

He was arrested Thursday night in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The marshal's office says Juarez escaped from a state prison in Marion by sawing through prison bars and cutting through a fence. They say he also put a dummy in his bed and covered it with blankets.

Juarez was serving a life sentence for killing a Toledo man in 1975.
