Arrest warrant issued for Rochester home invasion suspect

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted in connection with a
Rochester home invasion that occurred early Monday.

A spokesman says two men barged into a residence in the 2200 block of Park Lane Southeast shortly after 2 a.m. and threatened the occupants at gunpoint. There were some children there at the time. Investigators say the men were apparently looking for a person who was not there. One of the victims was able to call 911 and the responding officers arrived while the intruders were still there. One of them - 33 year old Tirone Ruth - was arrested. The other man - 25 year old Ishmael Ewing - jumped from a 2nd floor window and fled in an SUV, which was found abandoned a short distance away. The warrant charges him with the same crimes that were filed against Ruth. Police recovered two handguns at the scene.
