The Rochester City Council has approved a preliminary development agreement with local developer Gus Chafoulias involving his proposed Broadway at Center project.  The city will continue working on a final agreement but no timetable has been given.

Besides lining up his financing, Chafoulias still needs to deal with some other details such as a skyway connection.  It’s expected it will be constructed over Broadway.  The Council was told last night Chafoulias has been negotiating the possible purchase of the Michael’s Restaurant property that could be used as a possible connection point for the skyway.
