Braving The Cold For Rare December Parade To Honor Rochester’s Frontline Health Workers

Rochester ,MN (KROC AM News) - It may have been cold but the atmosphere was spirited in Rochester Tuesday evening as local public safety agencies hooked up to put on a rare December parade.

Organizers called it: Light Up the Night Drive-by Holiday Parade: A Tribute to Frontline Health Care Workers.

The parade of firetrucks, ambulance and squad cars started in front of St. Marys Hospital and then worked its way over to the Methodist campus in the downtown. From there, the parade moved to the Olmsted Medical Center’s main campus.

Mayor Kim Norton joined Santa Claus in helping spread cheer at the three stops.
