Child Pulled from Pool at Minnesota Apartment Complex Dies in Hospital
Edina, MN (KROC-AM News)- A child pulled from a pool at a Minnesota apartment complex has died in the hospital.

That’s according to a news release issued Monday by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office. The young boy was pulled from a pool at an apartment complex in Edina.
The news release says the child was taken to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis after being rescued from a pool at an apartment complex located at 7330 Gallagher Drive in the Twin Cities suburb on June 6.
The young boy was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on June 12. He has been identified as 5-year-old Vishagan Alagushankar.
The autopsy report indicates the five-year-old died as a result of an accidental drowning.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Edina Police Department are investigating the child’s death.
