City Councilmember Synder Faces Challenger

A race was set-up Wednesday for a seat on the Rochester City Council.

Nick Campion filed as a candidate for the 3rd ward position now held by Bruce Snyder, who previously filed for re-election. A race was earlier set-up in the 5th ward, where incumbent Mark Hickey is being challenged by Shaun Palmer.

A check with the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office also shows Rochester State Representative Tina Liebling has filed for re-election.
