Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - With credit for time already served, a Rochester man will spend a little bit over three months in jail for robbing a Rochester business last fall.

40-year-old Chad Hatton, who last month admitted to a second-degree aggravated robbery charge, was also sentenced to 15 years probation and 150 hours of community work service.

Police say Hatton entered the Fish and Pet Store in the Crossroads Shopping Center last November and fled on foot after he grabbed money out of the cash register. He was found about only a block away from the store. The arresting officers were able to respond to the robbery within seconds because they were already nearby dealing with a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of a number of businesses and almost the entire shopping center parking lot.
