Minnesota Man Sentenced for Cyber Stalking & Child Porn Crimes

St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota man has been sent to federal prison for convictions relating to cyber stalking and child pornography crimes.

He was sentenced on Tuesday, according to a news release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Minnesota. The St. Paul man was accused of committing the crimes from January of 2019 through February of 2023. 

Federal court documents accuse 40-year-old Chedor TV of portraying himself as a minor to communicate with the underaged female victim on the social media sites Snapchat and Discord. 

He’s accused of using the fake accounts to send the victim sexually explicit images. TV also used the online aliases to cyber stalk the victim, the federal charges say.

While stalking the young girl on social media, TV is also accused of filming the young victim while she was showering at his home without her knowledge. 

He also created a sexually explicit video of the girl while she was sleeping at his residence, according to federal court records. 

The victim then tried to end contact with one of TV’s fake online accounts and TV responded by threatening to release the sexually-explicit material of her that he captured and created without her knowledge, the news release says. 

In January TV pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography and admitted to cyberstalking the young girl. 

TV was sentenced on Tuesday to 20 years in federal prison. The news release says his time behind bars will be followed by 10 years of supervised release.
