DNR Issues Burning Ban In Freeborn County
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has issued an outdoor burning ban for Freeborn County which will remain in effect until further notice. The National Weather Service has also issued a fire weather watch for the area. This watch is due to strong winds and low relative humidity. Winds will become sustained at 20-30mph with gusts up to 40mph. Any fires which develop will likely spread rapidly.
