Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty to First-Degree Charge in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has admitted to a drug dealing charge.
According to court documents, 40-year-old Steven Monroe Lamotte was charged in January based on the evidence gathered through a Rochester Police investigation that began in January 2022. The criminal complaint describes three transactions involving the sale of methamphetamine by Lamotte to a confidential reliable informant over the span of three months.
The charges alleged the informant successfully purchased approximately 46 grams of methamphetamine from Lamotte, who was charged with first-degree drug sales and third-degree drug possession.
He entered a guilty plea today to the first-degree drug sales charge and is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
