
Authorities Suspect Man of Perishing in Rural Minnesota Fire
Orr, MN (KROC-AM News)- Investigators suspect a man perished in a rural Minnesota house fire.

Emergency responders were dispatched to northern Minnesota property shortly before 7:00 Thursday morning
A caller reported her house was on fire and that she was not able to locate her husband.

St. Louis County Sheriff's Office: Man Feared Dead Following House Fire in Rural Orr, MN
A news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the fire broke out in the 3500 block of Hwy. 119, which is about 45 miles northwest of Virginia.
The house was fully engulfed in flames once firefighters and deputies arrived, according to the news release.
Officials say the woman called in the fire, described as a 57-year-old Orr resident, was able to escape from the burning home.
Her husband, also 57 years old, was last seen awake inside of the house, the news release says. Investigators suspect the woman’s husband succumbed to the fire.
Authorities have not yet identified the man and woman who were living in the home. The house was deemed a total loss.
The cause of the apparent deadly fire is under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office.
