WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (AP) — A former police officer from White Bear Lake has been sentenced to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to stalking.

KARE-TV reports 46-year-old received the sentenced Monday. She was charged in January with two counts of felony stalking for sending threatening letters and text messages to her ex-boyfriend and his new love interest.

Tuthill will be on probation for 10 years and can't have any contact with either victim in that time. Half of her jail time will be served on work release.

She was fired from the police department after being accused of harassing an ex-boyfriend in 2009.
