Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Olmsted County jury has returned a guilty verdict against a former Rochester man charged with sexually assaulting a young girl throughout most of her childhood.
Ordered Held Without Bail Pending Sentencing
The jury convicted 55-year-old David Shane Dailey of two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Following the announcement of the verdict, the Casper, Wyoming, man was taken into custody and was ordered held without bail until his sentencing hearing in August.

Prosecutors Detailed Years of Alleged Abuse
Olmsted County court records indicate Dailey was charged in the case three years ago following an investigation by the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office that began in the fall of 2022. The criminal complaint says investigators were contacted by the victim, who told them she had been sexually assaulted as often as twice a week beginning when she was a toddler.
