Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect lane closures on Highway 52 in Rochester during the evening and overnight hours over the next few weeks.

MNDOT crews will be replacing the highway striping from 85th Street Northwest to the highway 63 interchange beginning Friday evening. The work was postponed from earlier this week because of rain.

The crews will be painting, applying reflective tape, and using a grinder in some places.

The work is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Friday and will wrap up each morning between 6 and 6:30 a.m. The project is expected to be complete by May 20th, weather permitting.
