How to win an ice cream eating contest

Steve Lange from Rochester Magazine joined Tracy McCray and Andy Brownell on Rochester Today Wednesday morning and strategized how to win an ice cream eating contest.

Tracy did her best to get under Steve's skin and suggested he had no chance at winning the upcoming Possibilities Ice Cream Social because of the ice cream eating prowess of KTTC-TV Meteorologist Ted Schmidt. He ended up calling the show and describe the excruciating pain caused by consuming mass quantities of ice cream.  The event will be held the evening of June 23rd at Central Park in downtown Rochester.

Andy was more interested in Steve's experience aboard the USS Minnesota, the nation's newest Virginia class nuclear submarine. Lange recently traveled to Groton, Connecticut to tour the vessel and interview the submarine's commander.  Brian Tanaka grew up in Rochester and is a Lourdes High School graduate.
