The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday, says the case began Sunday morning when officers responded to the report of domestic assault involving a shooting threat.
Police then went to the home of the suspect assailant, identified as 19-year-old Da'Zyllon Kordae Eugene Williams and were granted permission to search his vehicle, according to the charges.
The officers recovered a handgun magazine, gun cleaning kit and a scale from the vehicle, the complaint says.
Police then obtained a warrant to search the home Williams was living at and found a Polymer 80 Pistol, which is a gun without a serial number that is built from a kit, the charges say.
Court records indicate Williams was found by a judge to have committed an aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery crime in Olmsted County in 2022.
Williams has been charged with a count of terroristic threats, ineligible person in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a serial number.
His conditional bail was set Tuesday at $100,000. He’s due back in court later this month.
