
Infant & Two Women Stuck by Pickup at Rochester Intersection, Driver Cited
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- An infant was among three pedestrians struck by a vehicle at a busy Rochester intersection on Thursday.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.
First responders were called to the scene around 4:15 p.m. The vehicle involved in the incident is being described as a pickup truck.

Infant & Two Women Hit by Pickup While Crossing South Broadway Ave. in Rochester
The women and baby were hit at the intersection of South Broadway Ave. and 9th St.
Grayson says the pickup was making a left turn from 9th St. to southbound South Broadway when the driver struck the women and infant, who was in a stroller, in the crosswalk.
The police report indicates the infant was thrown from the stroller. Grayson says the two women and baby were transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to a hospital with injuries.
An update on their conditions is not available and their names have not been released.
Grayson described the pickup driver as an 84-year-old man and said he was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian. His name has not been released.
