It’s Blueberry Season: Where to Pick Your Own in Southeast Minnesota
Fresh fruits and vegetables are coming into season here in Minnesota. One of those that is currently ripe for the picking is blueberries!
The Rochester Farmers Market does a little farmers market outside of our radio station in downtown Rochester every Wednesday, 2-6 PM. Last week I saw one vendor with a TON of blueberries for sale, so it really is that time of year.

What Fruits and Veggies Are in Season Right Now
Other than blueberries currently being in season here, beans are also in season, according to PickYourOwn.org. Greens and strawberries are also still in season.
Plus, cucumbers, peppers, squash, sweet corn, and tomatoes should start becoming ripe soon if they haven't already in your garden.
Where to Pick Your Own Blueberries in Southeast Minnesota
If you'd like to take your family out to do some blueberry picking while they're in season, we have a few different options around southeast Minnesota.
Berry and Bloom Farm in Chatfield offers pick-your-own blueberries.
So does Little Hill Berry Farm in Northfield.
And Berry Fruit Farm in Winona does, too.
Getting out to pick your own blueberries would be a really fun way to spend time with the family before summer ends!
Blueberry season typically goes until mid-August, but you'll want to double-check with whichever farm you're going to to make sure they still have blueberries to be picked.
