Delta announced that they will no longer be offering in-flight drink and snack service during certain flights starting on May 19th, 2026. Those flights are ones that are under 350 miles and this only applies to the economy class.

This comes a month after Delta also announced that they are raising checked baggage fees as the price of jet fuel continues to climb due to the war in the Middle East.

A Delta spokesperson told The New York Times,

The change is intended to 'create a more consistent experience across our network ... Even on the small number of flights without beverage service, our crew will continue to be visible, available and focused on caring for our customers, like they do on every flight.'

While I haven't been able to find an official list of which flights will no longer offer the food and drink service, I was still able to gather a list of the flights out of MSP that will likely not offer these services.

MSP Delta Flights That Will Not Offer Food and Drink Service

I'm not sure if all of these flights ever did offer in-flight food and drink service, but these are the flight routes via Delta out of MSP that are under 350 miles and, therefore, will likely not offer any food and drink service beginning May 19th, 2026.
