When the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down, the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce searched for ideas to help save local businesses and fuel growth during and after the shutdown. As luck would have it, Winter Fun LLC, was looking for a city to host a snow sculpting contest at the very same time.

Winter Fun selected Stillwater and the community has responded. Today the World Snow Sculpting Championship attracts competitors from all over the world and 50,000+ spectators. The competition just wrapped up with thousands of dollars awarded to the winning teams.
