There are some pretty crazy world records out there. I would never be able to handle having the world's longest nails (it takes me a long time to get used to long fake nails!) or to be able to break the record for longest-held plank.

One world record that was broken in Wisconsin was recently named the weirdest world record in the state by Mental Floss. It's also the most 'Wisconsin' sounding world record.

Minnesota's Weirdest World Record

I recently wrote about Minnesota's weirdest world record, according to Mental Floss. It's something I didn't think you could even get a record for.

PhD students did a study involving emojis and discovered the most confusing emoji. From that study, they got the world record for the most confusing emoji, which is this guy:

You can read more about that in my other post.

Weirdest World Records

Some of the other weirdest world records out there include a guy who has the largest collection of hair from historical figures. He's in Connecticut and has locks of hair from people like Elvis, Abraham Lincoln, and Marilyn Monroe.

There's also a woman in Florida who holds the record for most bridesmaids to one bride. She had 150 bridesmaids!

Wisconsin's Weirdest World Record

Wisconsin's weirdest world record which I have also decided is the most 'Wisconsin' sounding record is... for the largest lawn mower parade.

This record was broken in August of 1997 in Port Washington, WI.

A group of 800 people came out with their riding lawnmowers and rode them along the streets of 1.2 miles for the largest lawnmower parade in the world.

How funny is that?
