An Oronoco man has been placed on probation for 10 years for a cattle rustling conviction.

29-year-old Adam Tiedeman was also sentenced to 15 days in jail.  He earlier pleaded guilty to a felony count of rustling and livestock theft for stealing seven Holstein cows from his father’s rural Oronoco farm last October. Tiedeman admitted taking the livestock while his father was out of town and selling the cows to a livestock exchange in Zumbrota for about $5,500 dollars.
