Man’s Throat Cut During Trucker Dispute at Western Wisconsin Kwik Trip
West Salem, WI (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in western Wisconsin are investigating an apparent knife attack that happened at a Kwik Trip store.

The West Salem Police Department says officers were dispatched to the store shortly after 7:00 Monday evening.
Preliminary reports indicated a man’s throat had been cut and that the suspected assailant fled the area in a red semi truck that was towing a trailer.
Truck Driver Taken to Hospital Following Knife Attack at Western Wisconsin Kwik Trip
The call came from the Kwik Trip located off I-90 in the village of just under 5,300 people. West Salem is about 12 miles east of La Crosse.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers encountered a man suffering from what was described as a substantial, but non-life-threatening, laceration to his neck and chest.
The victim was treated and released at a nearby hospital. Authorities say the incident is isolated.
Preliminary information indicates the suspect and victims were truck drivers who do not know each other. Their names have not been released.
Police say the two men have no connection to West Salem or the surrounding area. Information regarding the suspect has not been released.
