
Police: Witnesses Capture Teen Who Fled from Stolen Vehicle Crash at Rochester Intersection
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage boy was captured by witnesses following a crash involving a stolen vehicle in Rochester over the weekend.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson. Officers responded to the crash around 10:20 Sunday night.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and 11th Ave. Southeast near Mayo High School. Two vehicles were involved in the crash.
Teen Accused of Crashing Stolen Vehicle at Rochester Intersection Captured By Witnesses After Attempting to Flee Scene
Grayson says a 15-year-old boy fled from the crash scene on foot. He was later apprehended by witnesses.

Details regarding the events that led up to the crash have not been released. The vehicle driven by the teen boy was reported to have been stolen earlier on Sunday night, according to the police report.
Grayson says the teen was transported to the Anoka County Juvenile Detention Center and is anticipated to face multiple charges.
Police say the occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash suffered what are believed to be minor injuries.
