Another senior member of the Rochester city government staff has decided to retire.

 KROC AM has learned Development Administrator Doug Knott will leave at the end of August.  Knott has been with the city for 29 years, arriving here from Appleton, Wisconsin in 1985.  Knott was instrumental in finalizing all of the public/private development agreements involving  downtown projects during his local career.  He was also involved in the development of the downtown alliance organization known as the RDA.  He says he has no immediate retirement plans.
