Man Killed in Crash Near Popular South-Central MN Lake
Elysian, MN (KROC-AM News) - There was a fatal traffic crash this morning in LeSueur County.
LeSueur County Sheriff Brett Mason says the deadly crash occurred shortly after 8 AM when deputies responded to a report of a car off of a roadway just east of German Lake about 5 miles north of Elysian. The report to the Sheriff's Office indicated the vehicle had crashed into some trees in the north ditch.
The responding deputies found the heavily damaged car and discovered a man's body in the wreckage. Sheriff Mason says he was later identified as 26-year-old Trevyn David Case of Minneapolis.
It also says the initial investigation determined the victim was headed north on the rural Highway when he apparently lost control while entering a curve. The vehicle then left the roadway and struck some trees.
The incident remains under investigation.
