Man Shot Dead at Albert Lea Park
Albert Lea, MN (KROC AM News) - There’s a murder investigation underway in Freeborn County.
Authorities received a 911 call around 9:15 Tuesday night from a man who said he had shot a person at Helmer Myre State Park just outside Albert Lea.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s office says the victim was located in a vehicle at the park with two gunshot wounds to his head. His name has not been released yet. The suspect was also at the park and taken into custody.
