St Paul,  MN  (KROC-AM News) - For the first time since the beginning weeks of Minnesota’s current human influenza season, activity is now classified as sporadic.

The latest weekly update from the state Health Department shows there were 17 hospitalizations involving suspected flu cases, down from 57 the prior week. And, there were no outbreaks reported at schools or long term care facilities.

So far this season, the number of flu-related deaths involving children under the age of 18 is ten.
