The Sheriff says 85-year-old Willard Ruben Prigge was in the UTV and was driving out of a farm driveway when he collided with a northbound pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old boy. The teenage motorist indicated the UTV did not stop when it came out onto the County Road and despite his efforts to avoid a collision, the UTV crashed into the passenger side rear quarter panel of the pickup.

The collision sent the UTV into the ditch where it rolled over. The teenage pickup driver, whose name was not released, was treated for unknown injuries.
