Minnesota’s COVID-19 Death Total Nears 5,000

St Paul (KROC AM News) - Minnesota’s COVID-19 death total is approaching 5,000.

The Minnesota Dept. of Health Sunday reported 127 Covid victims died the last two days, increasing the overall total to 4,850.

The department says the number of positive cases over the last two days totaled around 5500. The overall total is just over 397,000.

Olmsted County has reported two more Covid deaths, increasing its total to 49. Both victims were in their 90s.

The county reported nearly 200 new cases over the last two days, raising its overall total to 8600.
