Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Wipe-Out in Southeast Minnesota
Houston, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing in southeast Minnesota’s Houston County Saturday afternoon.
The State Patrol responded to the motorcycle crash along Hwy. 16 in Mound Prairie Township, which is between Houston and Hookah. The crash was reported shortly before 1 p.m.
The state crash report indicates the motorcycle, operated by 22-year-old Matthew Scott Dunnum of La Crosse, WI, was traveling east on the two-lane highway when it lost control on a curve and crashed into the ditch. He was brought to a hospital in nearby La Crosse for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Dunnum was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says. The Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Houston ambulance also responded to the motorcycle crash.
