Week 7 Minnesota High School Football rankings are out and Southeast Minnesota has 11 teams in the Top 10 across six classes.

The Associated Press rankings were released on Wednesday afternoon as Southeast Minnesota saw two teams remain in the #1 spot in their respective classes along with three other teams in the Top 5. We will start with the 9-man rankings below as Lanesboro found itself at #2 in the state again.

9-Man Minnesota High School Football Rankings

Lanesboro stayed in the #2 spot after a win over Nicollett in week 6, moving to 6-0 on the year, with a matchup with Mable-Canton on Friday night. Grand Meadow moved back into the Top 10 after a 35-0 win over Southland, the Superlarks are 5-1 and take on Lyle-Pacelli Friday night. LeRoy-Ostrander also received votes after their 46-6 win over Spring Grove. The Cardinals take on the Houston Hurricanes Friday night and we will have the action on 103.1 KFIL.

Class A Minnesota High School Football Rankings

Rushford-Peterson moved up two spots to #4 after another impressive performance last week. The Trojans took down Randolph 47-8 to move to 6-0 on the year. Their offense has been on fire, averaging 40 points per game on offense, and the defense has been stout, allowing just 9.2 points per game. Fillmore Central moved to 5-1 on the season after a 27-8 win over Keyon-Wanamingo. The Falcons have won four straight and received votes in this week's rankings.

Class AA Minnesota High School Football Rankings

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms stayed at #1 as they moved to 6-0 last week with a win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 54-8. The Blossoms are looking to lock up the #1 seed in the Section 2AA Playoffs with two games remaining on their season against NRHEG and Medford. The Chatfield Gophers moved up to #7 after winning their fifth straight game. They fell to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (ranked #8 in AAA) in the season opener, but they have rattled off 5 impressive wins in a row including a 40-15 win over Goodhue last week. They take on Dover-Eyota Friday night and then wrap up their season against Lewiston-Altura in Lewiston. We will have the action on 103.1 KFIL next Wednesday night.

Class AAA Minnesota High School Football Rankings

Lake City remains at #1 after moving to 6-0 with a 40-7 win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa last week, while Cannon Falls remained at #6 with their 5-1 record. Plainview-Elgin-Millville moved up to #8 as they took down Pine Island 35-14 last week.

Lake City wraps up its season with games against Goodhue Thursday night and takes on Cannon Falls next Wednesday.

Stewartville stayed at #4 after a big 28-21 win over Kasson-Mantorville last week. The KoMets were ranked #5 at the time of the game and fell to #8 after the loss. The KoMets are now 4-2 on the season. The Tigers moved to 6-0 and still sit behind Becker, Hutchinson, and Mound-Westonka in the rankings. The Tigers wrap up their season with Winona and Rochester John Marshall.

Rochester Mayo moved back up to #6 this week after moving to 5-1. The Spartans' only loss this season is to #1 ranked Mankato West, who has been at the top of the rankings all season long.
