Olmsted Judge Orders Arrest After Drug Suspect Skips Court
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Olmsted County judge today issued an arrest warrant for one of the two men charged in connection with a major Rochester drug bust earlier this year.
27-year-old Dylan Jakub Davis was released without bail following his arraignment on first-degree drug sales and possession charges in late February. The Rochester man was ordered to return to court for hearing this week, but failed to show up and is now being sought by local authorities.

According to the criminal complaint in this case, Rochester police executed a search warrant at Davis' apartment on February 19 and seized multiple baggies that contained a total of about 5.75 ounces of cocaine. The court document says one of the baggies with cocaine were in the possession of another man in the apartment, who was identified as 33-year-old Obed Omot Olok of Rochester.
The charging document against Davis says he told investigators that his apartment was equipped with indoor surveillance cameras and the review of the video recordings showed that Olok arrived at the residence about five minutes before police arrived. The criminal complaint says the video also recorded Olok showing Davis the six baggies of cocaine and discussing the quality and the price of the drugs in what investigators described as an apparent drug deal.
Olak was also charged with first-degree drug sales and possession. His bail was set at $150,000 and he remains in custody at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.
