Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Owatonna man has been found competent to stand trial for the murder of a Minneapolis man.

A judge in Hennepin County issued the ruling today after reviewing the results of a psychological evaluation on 28-year-old Mubarak Musse. The testing was ordered shortly after he was charged with second-degree murder for the deadly shooting outside a Minneapolis market on March 15th.

The criminal complaint says the fatal shooting was recorded by a surveillance camera and followed an argument between Musse and the victim inside the Village Market. Prosecutors say the video shows the Owatonna man pulling out a handgun and firing multiple shots at the victim even after he fell to the ground. Investigators recovered 15 spent shell casings at the scene.
