Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - There were a couple new filings today for the State House seats representing Rochester. Republican Nels Pierson filed for re-election to the District 26B seat, where he faces a challenge from Democrat Tyrel Clark.

Former Olmsted County Commissioner Paul Wilson has filed as a Republican for the House District 26A seat now held by Democrat Tina Liebling. She is also facing a challenge from fellow Democrat Abdulkadir Dahir Abdalla.

The deadline for candidates to file for this fall’s election is tomorrow afternoon.
