Plainview Issues Boil Water Advisory

The city of Plainview is experiencing a fresh water supply issue

and has issued this message to residents:

Due to low water pressure this morning all water for consumption should be at full boil for one minute prior to using for drinking, cooking, etc. Bottled water is also a good option for the time being. Plainview Public Works has been working since the incident to get the water lab tested and cleared for consumption. There will be an update when the water is cleared for consumption without boiling. Thank you for your continued cooperation and patience.
