Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 19-year-old man was arrested this afternoon at a hotel in Woodbury as the suspect in a shooting yesterday evening in Red Wing.

A statement issued this afternoon by the Red Wing Police Department says 19-year-old Michael Reyes is being held in the Goodhue County jail pending the filing of formal charges. The Woodbury Police Department reported his arrest by a SWAT team after authorities in the Twin Cities suburb received information from Red Wing Police about Reyes' location.

Reyes is expected to be charged with shooting and wounding 28-year-old D'andre Hicks. Officials say the Tampa, Florida man was found suffering from gunshot wounds after officers responded to reports of gunshots around 6:30 Tuesday evening. Hicks was brought to the hospital in Red Wing before he was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital. Information about his medical condition has not been released.

Meanwhile, Red Wing police responded to a report of another shooting this morning. A statement says officers sent to investigate a report of a man with a gun shortly after 11 AM found approximately 9 spent shell casings in the street but did not locate a suspect. No injuries or damages were reported.
